New 2005 Gil Carnal concert Guitar Indian Rosewood/Spruce
This guitar features the new sound port design modeled after Robert Ruck guitars so the player can enjoy the sound
of the guitar better. The top is beautiful European Spruce and the Back and Sides are East Indian Rosewood. William Jenks, concert guitarist and owner of Portland Classic
Guitar, plays Gil Carnal guitars exclusively and is a proud distributor of these exceptional instruments. Gil Carnal guitars follow the dimension, shape and most of the
aspects of traditional classical guitars. The changes are to the underside of the soundboard, treating it a little bit like the wing of a plane and creating a lighter resonating area
that presents the same resistance as a traditional soundboard. He uses lattice bracing made of lightweight wood reinforced with graphite fiber in the manner of Greg Smallman.
Actually, the technology is similar but the concept is very different. Read More
